"There is a prospect of a thriling time ahead for you." read my fortune cookie on Friday night as we kicked off the Tour Smart Weekend with Chinese food and a viewing of the documentary "16 days in China"... and it turns out I had one smart cookie!

The entire weekend was so inspiring... I have a full head and notebook of ideas that I can't wait to share with all of you and will begin posting soon. r3 is a school/melting pot/idea factory/recording studio/launching pad led by Martin Atkins. r3 runs full five week courses and crash weekends aimed at helping musicians and entrepeneurs get help with their careers directly from people who are working in the fast changing fields of music and technology. If you have the chance to attend one of these in Chicago... DO IT!
